Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Group Test Manager, including its website, accounts, group-test coordination tools, public-result features, notifications, automated report analysis, and Telegram and Discord bots (collectively, the "Service"). "Operator," "we," "us," and "our" mean Group Test Manager operator, the person or organization that deploys and administers this instance of the Service. By creating an account, using the Service, interacting with one of its bots, or submitting content, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility and authority

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. If you use the Service for an organization or testing group, you represent that you are authorized to bind it. You may not use the Service where doing so would violate applicable law, regulation, sanctions, professional obligations, or third-party rights.

2. What the Service does—and does not do

The Service helps users coordinate independent laboratory testing, manage participation and cost sharing, receive notifications, and organize or publish laboratory reports. It is an administrative tool. The Operator is not, merely by providing the Service, a laboratory, medical provider, pharmacy, manufacturer, seller, escrow agent, money transmitter, insurer, or guarantor of any participant, organizer, vendor, compound, sample, laboratory, report, or result.

Content and extracted values are provided for informational and coordination purposes only. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment guidance, a representation that any substance is safe or lawful, or a substitute for a qualified professional or the original laboratory report. Never make health or safety decisions from the Service alone.

3. Accounts and linked platforms

• Provide accurate information and keep it current.
• Protect your password and single-use Telegram or Discord linking tokens.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and linked messaging identities.
• Notify an administrator promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
• Do not share an account, impersonate another person, or link a platform identity you do not control.

The Operator may approve, deny, limit, suspend, unlink, or deactivate accounts when reasonably necessary to protect the Service, users, testing groups, or legal compliance. Platform linking does not transfer ownership of your Telegram or Discord account to the Operator.

4. Group tests, participation, costs, and payments

Group-test descriptions, participant approvals, vial-donor designations, cost allocations, payment status, shipping status, and deadlines are maintained by administrators and group organizers. Displayed amounts may be estimates and can change as costs or participation change. Unless the Operator expressly states otherwise in writing, payments occur outside the Service through third-party methods selected by the group, and the Service does not hold funds or guarantee refunds, shipments, sample custody, laboratory performance, or completion of a test.

You are responsible for reviewing the details of a group test before participating and for complying with all laws governing any sample, material, payment, or shipment. Disputes among participants, organizers, vendors, laboratories, or payment providers should be addressed directly with the responsible party.

5. Laboratory reports and public results

You may be able to upload a report, submit a public report link, contribute test information, or ask an administrator to publish a result. You represent that you have the right to provide that material and permit the Operator to store, process, reproduce, format, analyze, and display it as needed to operate the Service. Do not submit confidential information, personal information, protected health information, trade secrets, unlawfully obtained material, or content that infringes another person's rights.

Public Results are intended to be shared with the Service's user community and through enabled bot browsing features. Group-test reports may have narrower access rules. Access controls reduce exposure but cannot guarantee that an authorized recipient will not copy or redistribute a report. The Operator may correct, decline, unpublish, or remove content that is inaccurate, unsupported, unlawful, unsafe, or inconsistent with these Terms.

6. Automated report analysis

When enabled, the Service can send a submitted laboratory report and limited test context to one configured artificial-intelligence provider—OpenAI, xAI (Grok), or Anthropic (Claude)—to propose structured values such as identity, mass, purity, net content, endotoxin, or sterility. Automated extraction can be incomplete, incorrect, or misleading. It does not validate a report's authenticity, laboratory methods, chain of custody, sample identity, or fitness for any purpose. Proposed values require administrator review before application, and the original report controls if there is any discrepancy.

7. Telegram, Discord, and webhook integrations

The Service may provide Telegram and Discord bots for account linking, test listings, status and participation actions, public-result browsing, password-reset delivery, administrator-configured commands, notifications, and—in Telegram—laboratory-report submission and administrator review. Commands or buttons sent in a group, channel, server, or thread may be visible to other members according to that platform's permissions.

The Service may also send administrator-configured outbound messages to Discord webhooks and a generic "Root" webhook. Root is an outbound notification transport, not an account-login provider. Messaging platforms and webhook recipients are independent services with their own terms and privacy practices. The Operator is not responsible for their availability, security, moderation, or onward handling of messages. You may stop bot interactions, unlink an identity through the Service where available, or ask an administrator for help; platform-side copies may remain under the platform's rules.

8. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

• break the law or facilitate unlawful acquisition, sale, shipment, use, or concealment of regulated goods;
• misrepresent a sample, report, laboratory, result, payment, identity, or authorization;
• upload malware or attempt unauthorized access, scraping, probing, denial of service, or security bypass;
• harass, threaten, defraud, dox, spam, or expose another person's private information;
• circumvent participation, result-visibility, bot-scope, rate-limit, or administrator-review controls;
• use automated results as a claim of medical safety, regulatory approval, or guaranteed authenticity; or
• interfere with the Service or third-party providers used to operate it.

9. Ownership and content license

The Operator and applicable licensors retain rights in the Service's software, branding, and original content. You retain whatever rights you hold in content you submit. You grant the Operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, copy, process, transmit, format, and display that content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, improve, and administer the Service and to meet legal obligations. For content you intentionally publish as a Public Result, that license includes making it available to Service users and enabled bot interfaces until it is removed from publication, subject to backup and legal retention needs.

10. Third-party services and links

The Service depends on third parties that may include hosting, databases, object storage, email delivery, laboratories, payment methods, Telegram, Discord, webhook recipients, AI providers, and Google Analytics. A link or integration does not mean the Operator endorses or controls that third party. Your use of a third party is governed by its own terms, and you are responsible for reviewing them.

11. Availability, changes, and termination

The Service may change, experience delays, lose integrations, or be unavailable. The Operator may modify or discontinue features and may suspend or terminate access for violations, security risk, nonpayment, legal requirements, or operational necessity. You may stop using the Service at any time. Account termination does not automatically erase records the Operator must retain for legitimate operational, dispute, security, or legal purposes.

12. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” The Operator disclaims warranties of accuracy, authenticity, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, and error-free operation. The Operator does not warrant laboratory reports, automated extractions, user statements, links, samples, substances, payments, shipments, or third-party services.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator and its administrators, contributors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits or data, personal injury arising from reliance on Service content, or losses involving samples, substances, payments, shipments, reports, or third-party services. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid the Operator to use the Service during the preceding 12 months or US $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so these limits may not fully apply to you.

14. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Operator and its administrators and contributors from claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your submitted content, your violation of these Terms or applicable law, or your misuse of the Service. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by the indemnified party's own unlawful conduct.

15. Governing terms

These Terms are governed by the law applicable at the Operator's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory law requires otherwise. Before filing a claim, you and the Operator should attempt in good faith to resolve it through the Service's established administrator contact channel. Nothing here limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the agreement for use of the Service unless the Operator provides additional written terms for a particular group.

16. Changes and contact

The Operator may update these Terms. The effective date above will change when revisions are posted, and material changes will be communicated when required by law. Continued use after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted. Questions or legal notices should be sent to the site administrator through the contact channel supplied for this deployment.
